- 1 tbsp ghee or coconut oil

Ayurvedic Apple Cinnamon Crumble

Ingredients:
- 4 apples, peeled and sliced
- 100 g rolled oats
- 50 g almonds, chopped
- 50 g coconut blossom sugar
- 1 tsp each cinnamon, nutmeg
- 2 tbsp ghee or coconut oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Preparation:
1. Prepare apples: Place apple slices in a baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Drizzle with maple syrup and mix well.
2. Prepare crumble: In a bowl, mix rolled oats, chopped almonds, and coconut blossom sugar. Melt ghee or coconut oil and stir into the mixture until a crumbly mass forms.
3. Bake: Spread the crumble mixture over the apples and bake the dish at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 25-30 minutes, until the crumble is golden brown.
4. Serve: Serve warm – ideally with some coconut yogurt or cream.
